Stack bond tile layouts have been trending for a few years, mostly in the 2×8” to 2×12” ranges. I shared some examples of vertical stack bond installations in showers a few months ago.
Recently I’ve noticed the shapes getting thinner, but still following the same stacked or straight joint style. We’ve seen staggered rectangular mosaics for decades so it’s nice to see installations in this more contemporary layout: single color straight joint (or stacked) instead of staggered.
