Yesterday I was in Sonoma and lucky to be there for a few hours with blue skies. I visited Cornerstone Sonoma, an open air market and garden where I like to walk around and soak up the sun.
In the center of their gardens is a redwood greenhouse open to the public. In spring, summer, and fall this greenhouse is filled with and surrounded by botanicals, but since it’s winter, it houses just a few succulents.
I’ve no room in my sloped backyard for my own greenhouse because it’s covered in grapevines, but building a small greenhouse is on my someday bucket list. My teens will be gone in a few short years, so I’ll anticipate I’ll have more time for gardening and in a new home, my dream might come true!
Meanwhile, enjoy these lovely backyard greenhouses which will inspire you for spring!
