Weekend Reading

By Kate Riley January 20, 2018

Hello and happy weekend! Today I’m finishing up some articles for publication on the blog next week so I can relax on my 8 day trip to Norway. I’m excited to see the country in winter having visited last year in late spring. Of course I’ll be taking pictures along the way and sharing favorites on Instagram.

Tomorrow I’m attending a baptism for my nephew, I’m his godmother so I’m quite honored to be a part. I’m also watching the NFL championship games. I don’t really have a favorite this year, but I’m rooting for the Vikings simply because it’s my brother in law’s favorite team and so there you go.

  1. My daughter is about your age, single, & lives with her dog.
She had a job that allowed her to work from home. She was a mortgage underwriter.
She thought is was great in the beginning. But after a while she found herself never getting dressed. And not taking care of herself. She went into a depression from not being around people. Or having a reason to get up & out of the house.
Now she works at an office & is feeling much better.
Be careful with a work-at-home job. It may not be all it’s cracked up to be.

  2. I’m fairly certain anyone who truly loves and reads books would not be a fan of the backwards book trend.
