I almost finished my powder room and discovered I was one strip of wallpaper short to complete the makeover, oh no! I ordered more and will finish that space when it arrives. I’m loving the new look and I can’t wait to share how great the waves wallpaper looks in that space.
The paper I used was prepasted, but for those that are nervous about pasted varieties, the removable peel and stick wallpapers are the best thing ever. I wrote a post last summer featuring 20 favorite removable wallpapers, they go up easy and are just as simple to remove when you’re done with the look. Also perfect for renters! A few more favorites I found in a recent search:
bloc (multiple colors)
hollyhock (multiple colors)
With so much suffering happening in the wake of Harvey, it feels a bit uncomfortable to blog about home decor. There are many ways to help, I donated to the Houston Food Bank, you can also help by contributing here.

Do you know what wallpaper works well with textured walls? I don’t want to commit to changing the texture permanently on my walls. Thanks!
Hi Krista, it depends on how thick the texture is. I have orange peel walls in my powder room from the original build (with the addition we did an imperfect smooth finish on all the new spaces). Mine is really light so I was able to use a patterned wallpaper on top and not have it show through. If the orange peel or knockdown is thicker, it’s best to use wall liner underneath the wallpaper itself, that’s the easiest way, find it on Amazon or other sources that sell wallpaper.
Waiting for the post, because am thinking of wallpapering my powder room. Pls do a tutorial.
I’ll mention the steps in the feature for sure!
I really like the dreams smoke wallpaper. Very cool and unique. Thanks for the ideas!
Each picture I was going like “oh wow, I really like this, think it’s my favorite” – for every-single-wallpaper!
