Weekend Reading

By Kate Riley September 3, 2016

Happy three day weekend friends! While so many people I know are away enjoying the last weekend of summer, I’ve been busy purging my home of the extraneous in my quest for less. Funny how when you travel it opens your eyes to how much stuff you really don’t need and when you return you see that all those things you’ve been holding on to are just visual clutter.

I’m being ruthless in my approach, if the thing has no meaning or purpose, out it goes. I want to love my home and how I feel when I’m in it, and cleansing it of anything that doesn’t meet that criteria feels so good!

  1. Thanks for sharing such a nice post! Yes it is great to be home. I also love to get latest decorating tips and tricks to improve the living space. Adding new furniture items can enhance the appeal of any living space.

  2. I couldn’t agree more. I just moved my daughter into what was quite possibly the smallest dorm room in existence. In fact the only place to go was up just to get the basic like books and a mini fridge into the room. It certainly makes you pare things to the bare minimum!
