This week the family is in Fiji, enjoying the food, climate, and wonderful people! Today we’re off to a boat trip to a remote island where we will be snorkeling and soaking up the sun. In two days we depart for New Zealand (South Island) and I’ll be posting our adventures on Instagram, follow along!
Before we left the States I did a little Christmas decorating in the living room to greet us on our return. I love white trees and this year Christmas Tree Market sent me a prelit 7′ Shimmering White Tree, so pretty!
I strung sparkling jeweled garland on the mantel (an easy DIY I’ll share soon) and decorated the tree with just a few ornaments. I purchased a mate for my linen wingback chair earlier this year so I now have a set (I moved the club chairs up to the studio.)
There’s a new faceted mirror above the mantel, I bought it from Lamps Plus on clearance but sadly it’s not available anymore, it’s a less expensive version of the Serena & Lily mirror. I love the mix of white and gold, modern and traditional so I paired it with twin gold leaf sconces from Wisteria.
The tree skirt is so simple – it’s two yards of teal velvet, no sewing, just draped casually around the base.
I’m back to my favorite palette of mixed blues and gold this year. The white tree looks lovely when lit, I’m excited to enjoy the beauty of it when we return from our trip !
The team at Christmas Tree Market graciously agreed to giveaway a 7.5′ (or smaller) tree to one of you! One of you will win a tree to decorate plus $150 gift card to decorate it. The winner can choose the 7′ (or smaller) or two other options.
Enter via the Rafflecopter widget below by picking one of these three trees, choose the 1) Shimmering White tree (shown in my living room); the 2) Sophia Springs Spruce tree (7.5′ or smaller); or the 3) Kennedy Fir tree (7.5′ or smaller). The winner will also receive a $150 gift card to decorate it too!
What a gorgeous holiday setting! That white tree is stunning!
3 years ago my white tree turned brown-ish yellow and we haven’t had a tree since. This year my daughter will be here with her two children- they’re moving back. :D This year a tree is a must.
Thanks for a shot at the title!
WOW. Love the sconces! You just can’t beat a good wingtip w/nailheads. Love the new look.
Meant to also say, I am doing these colors too this year to go with my new decor, altho using silver. Found a fantastic white very full wreath that’s generously lit at WalMart for about $25. Also a fantastic silver glittery reindeer head for the middle of the wreath (WalMart too!)
Wow! I love your white, blue, and gold color scheme! Thanks for a great giveaway! If I won, I would get the white tree and deck it out with ombre rainbow ornaments!!! :)
Amazing tree and beautiful decoration! Love the sconces!
Have a great trip!

Oh the shimmering white tree is gorgeous!!! Since my girls were adopted from Ethiopia, we’ve had a white tree but cannot find new one we can afford. Thanks for the chance to win!
So festive but not over the top- love it!!
Looks pretty. I too wanted the sconces but I was floored at the shipping costs from wisteria. They are way too much a Dan deal killer ?
***please excuse the typo*** should read …and a deal killer.
Wow, your tree & decor is absolutely stunning!!!
Thanks for the chance to win!
Your white tree and color choices look fresh and festive!
Thanks for a chance to win my own.
What a pretty tree!! I’ve always been afraid to decorate with a white tree, but perhaps I’ll have to try it. White can be hard because I’ve always been nervous it will end up looking tacky, but this is gorgeous–I love the color scheme!
Thanks for the chance at this beautiful Tree. We just moved into a home last January. My decorating has changed since last year. Last year everything was white. This year everything has moved into the direction of dark wood. We have 16-20ft vaulted ceilings. I think a tree would look beautiful here.
I couldn’t pull of a white tree. It looks beautiful in your space, but I’m a traditionalist when it comes to my green tree.
I think this is beautiful but not my taste at all. I would feel like I was walking into a department store! Where is the warmth, the coziness and the feeling of home?
I usually love everything you touch with your talented hands, but this one left me feeling cold.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Love a white tree, great giveaway!

These trees are so beautiful and luxurious. Having one in my home would make me feel like a millionaire. They are all lovely but the Sophia spruce is more to my liking, it looks so real.
