It was my last weekend in Florida, I spent it cleaning and organizing since I’m flying back to California. I photographed our primary bedroom, it’s quite a transformation, I’ll share those pictures on Wednesday. We have the best property manager and the coolest neighbors who keep an eye on our home while we’re absent, how wonderful is that? I was filled with so much gratitude for the weeks I spent here, it was the loveliest summer.
I’m excited about spending fall back home in California, although I’m not quite ready for autumn decorating. That’s the wonderful thing about August, it’s a sweet month of transition where we say goodbye to summer and let it slowly fade before the next season arrives.

The article about the best beach towns, probably should be deleted because it was a year ago this month that Lahaina town burned to the ground! It was kinda a shock to see it listed after such a devastating loss to the Maui community. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
Hello, yes I’m aware, the article is older than the fire from last year, they will rebuild and come back!
You might want to rethink that beach town list from 2021…at least two of those places have been ravaged by a hurricane and a wildfire.
