Asymmetric Sculptural Vessels

By Kate Riley August 23, 2022

This week is my third lesson in ceramic making at a local studio and I’m so inspired by the medium and the artists my instructor has introduced me to. Many of them are creating abstract or asymmetric vessels which I’m very drawn to. I’m going to attempt to create something similar before my eight week class ends.

In the meantime I purchased a twin set of abstract water drop vases for my mantel. They’re available for purchase here individually but less expensive on Amazon in this set of two. These twins help transition my living room from summer to fall with a few stems of dry grass I cut from the yard.

I’ve been researching eye catching sculptural beauties for my own inspiration files for my class. Below are a few to tempt you to add one to your collection. They’re so alluring on their own, they just might outshine their botanical inserts.
