Modern Neutral Mosaics

By Kate Riley March 15, 2022

I was excited to share a bathroom renovation this week but I discovered yesterday that the vanity mirror I ordered was broken. Its replacement will arrive soon, so the feature will have to wait.

I snapped a picture with my phone of the floor tile in this space which also runs into the walk in shower. My iphone picture doesn’t capture the full beauty of the varied tones, but I really love the random stripes that exist in this marble mosaic. It reminds me of old parquet floors but with a fresher vibe.

Most of the mosaics I see in tile stores or home improvement stores look dated to me so I hunt for tile that feels more modern with less predictable layouts. If you’re like me and you want to play with pattern but keep it neutral, below are some elevated mosaics for walls and floors.

  1. These are all so stunning~hard to pick a favorite. I would love to incorporate one of them in a client’s project soon. Thanks for the inspiration!
