Weekend Reading 8.21.21

By Kate Riley August 21, 2021

Oh man it was a rough week. A friend of mine passed away, a young mom that I liked so much. She was healthy and happy and her death was sudden. Add that to the sad news around the world and the ongoing pandemic. :(

The good news is my teens are back to school and so far, so good. They are so much happier being back on campus. We made great progress on the flip house this week. The shower tile floors and walls are installed, next week we start on the kitchen. It’s all coming together beautifully and I’ll have a few remodeled spaces to share in September.

  1. Hi Kate, So sorry about the loss of your friend. The shower tile floors and walls are looking. I suggest you buy upholstery fabrics for your chairs from Al Kilani Fabrics. Their products are of great quality and long-lasting.

  2. Thank you for your wonderful website. I’m so sorry for the loss of your friend and I wish you all sunnier days ahead.
