Weekend Reading 2.28.21

By Kate Riley February 28, 2021

Happy weekend friends. We just got word that kids in our town are going back to school in April which is such great news. My teens have been attending school online since August so they are really excited to return to campus.

We finished demo on the new renovation project, and I’m ordering cabinets and tile this week. It’s all coming together so nicely, I can’t wait to share the final spaces when they are complete, although that will likely be two months away. I’ll write about more about some of my ideas with that project soon.

Favorite links from the week:

Worth a repeat: the blend of textures, patterns, and coastal art in this home.

I’d love to decorate with wood sculptures like these.

Resources for free vintage botanical prints.

Dos and Don’ts for indoor plant success.

Martha Stewart speaks about her legacy.

Living with optimism, and more life reflections from Anthony Hopkins.

16 surreal sights in the USA.

Traditional national costumes from around the world.

Planning for spring break: tasty cocktail recipes under 150 calories.
