Sources for Interesting Planters

By Kate Riley February 1, 2021

Whenever the calendar turns to February I get excited because we’re getting closer to spring! I love having little plants all around me, and they always look happier in the natural daylight that comes through the window.

A few weeks ago I added more plant babies to my ladder shelves in my studio. I was looking for dark colors and subtle patterns as a contrast to the pale walls and also planters with a natural vibe, hence the wood print duo seen below.

  1. Beautiful planters. I do wish the retailers would note whether or not there is a drainage hole or plug, or even better make all of them with plug so buyer can choose how to use it. Have you had any luck drilling holes into planters? If it doesn’t have a drainage, I will certainly kill it.

    • Hi Suzanne, I couldn’t agree more and is this omission is the one thing that’ll stop me from buying a planter!

  2. Hi! I love the plant variety in your photos. Where did you get the ladder shelf that’s attached to the wall in the main photo? Love it! Thanks!

  3. Plants are pretty but flowerpots are amazing… I like plants ıf I can do, I just live with them. Pictures are so lovely …
