Pastel Pom Pom Wreaths

By Kate Riley December 1, 2020

Happy December to all! I was inspired by the trending hues of rose gold and apricot to create these mini felt pom pom wreaths.

Wool felt pom poms are fun to work with this time of year and I’ve wanted to make something new with them since the paper leaf garland I made a few years ago.

Terri at DIY Garland on Etsy has the best pom pom colors! I narrowed mine down to blush, peach, and oat.

To recreate this trio of pom pom wreaths, you’ll need ribbon, a hot glue gun, mini wreath bases, and 3 sets of 30 pom poms in different colors. I bought 30 blush felt wool balls, 30 peach felt wool balls, and 30 oat felt wool balls. I also embellished mine with mini peach colored floral stamens.

I found the wreath forms at Michaels, they’re the mini cardboard wreath bases for less than $3 each. I bought three and attached the wool felt balls with a hot glue gun.

To hang them, attach a ribbon loop with hot glue to the back side of the wreath form.

For added texture and a little shine, insert pearl top floral stamens in between felt balls, secured with hot glue.

How simple is that? And festive too. Recreate them in any color palette you choose!
