Weekend Reading 10.18.20

By Kate Riley October 18, 2020

Hello friends, happy weekend. Our perfect weather continues this week so I’m soaking up as much sun as possible. I have a few ideas and projects I’m working on, as always, and will share those when complete. I loved reading the comments on this week’s article about rough interior walls, thanks for sharing your thoughts. :)

Today we’re going to look at house that’s for sale. We’ve begin the discussion of selling and moving to another house in the same town, so the search has begun. Real estate prices are actually on the rise here as many people are mass exiting urban areas and buying up the suburban properties, so the timing isn’t the greatest to be house hunting, but it’s something we feel ready for. If that change happens then of course you know I’ll be sharing all about it here. :)

Favorite links from the week:

Get lost in the portfolio of product stylist and photographer Louise Roche.

I enjoyed browsing the portfolio of architect Paul Bates this week.

This medley is pretty: deep blue cabinets + taupe hex tile backsplash.

So clever: this fluted molding dresser project.

Bravo: these fiber art pieces are some of the best I’ve ever seen.

Next time you visit London, try these spots for an afternoon tea experience.

I’d welcome a holiday at any one of these renovated beach villas in Australia.

This Tulum resort makes me feel like running away to Mexico for a few days.

Age reversing practices that can make your brain younger.
