Weekend Reading

By Kate Riley June 16, 2019

It was a slow week on the blog, I needed to take some time off and focus on a few things behind the scenes. This year is flying by and I haven’t achieved certain goals that I set out to do in the beginning of the year, so I took a few days to get myself back on track. Sometimes you just need to hit the pause button and center yourself, right?

I’m feeling so much better and ready to jump back in! Find this week’s favorite links below:

Beautiful vertical stack tile installations in this Perth bungalow renovation.

The power of paint! This green vanity is so pretty.

Scandinavian life philosophies for a meaningful long life.

Everyday habits that are aging you.

How dads raise badass daughters.

Great places to camp on public land.

If my kids were grown, I’d definitely sign up for this adventure!

Wishing all the Dads a very Happy Father’s day!!

  1. So curious about that 80 day trip – the itinerary looks incredible, but I’m afraid it must be too good to be true – $5,000 per person including all travel, accommodations, and most meals? I looked up other trips by the same company, they tend to be $5-6k for a 15 day trip which honestly sounds much more realistic. Not sure how this trip could raise any money for Malala’s fund at that crazy low price. But seriously, such a cool itinerary that could inspire a DIY version!

    • Agreed, not sure how they’re keeping the cost down, but looks like so much fun!!
