Weekend greetings! Today I’m joining in a welcome home tour and front porch feature hosted by Chris from Just A Girl. She invited several bloggers to showcase their front entries and porches and I was delighted to join up too.
I’m into the copper and rose gold tones this year. I love to mix metallics and in years past it’s always been a medley of silver and gold together but now I’ve introduced more warm metal tones to the show.
My porch is super simple this year, I added a fresh wreath and strung some twinkle lights in the potted plants that live here everyday. I painted the front door a few years ago in Benjamin Moore’s Knoxville Grey, I still love the mid tone gray blue shade with my home’s pale yellow exterior.
Here in Northern California it doesn’t snow but it rains a lot! It poured all day but I was able to snap a few pictures with a break in the rain. The geometric indoor/outdoor rug is from Overstock.
The front door wreath is a flocked fresh evergreen wreath purchased from a local lot, I added the rose gold glass ornaments and copper cowbells I found here.
“I gotta fever and the only prescription is more cowbell.”
Inside each planter I layered ornaments over the soil for a festive touch.
Just inside the entry is a dresser where everyday I drop my keys and phone. This month a holiday vignette is on display. Also a sneak peak of the Christmas tree in my living room, heavily flocked since 2010.
A very Merry Christmas to all! Enjoy this festive weekend which is meant for spending time with family and friends, thanks for stopping by!

Lovely. How did you secure the wreath to the glass on your front door?
That’s one of those 3M hooks that holds up to 5 pounds! I found this one at Target
Oh friend! This is just stunning! That wreath is so beautiful, and your entry is always so welcoming. Good luck with your party! I know it’ll be great! Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous!! And you look absolutely stunning too!

Merry Christmas, Kate! What a gorgeous pic of you. I hope you and yours have a wonderful and festive Christmas. Enjoy! xoxo
I love the subtle contrast of your front door with the rest of your house, and your choices of decor are perfect. I’m definitely going to check out the rest of these posts.
So beautiful, I am going to make my own wreath next year!!

I love it. What a welcoming entry.
Your entry is just beautiful Kate! The rose gold and copper tones you used are so pretty. You have a unique style and it is always very classy and beautifully done. Is that jacket leather you have on? Really love it!! I’ve been on the hunt for one in that neutral color.
I love the houses on the dresser. Can you share where you got them?
They’re quite old, I wish I could remember, I want to say HomeGoods or World Market?
