Simple & Natural No Stress Thanksgiving Tables

By Kate Riley November 23, 2016

You’ve got your tablelcloth, chargers, dinner plates, napkins, and flatware for the big feast, but what about a centerpiece? If you’re hosting no doubt you’re trying to remember one hundred other little things and the centerpiece is a last minute collaboration. No worries. The easiest way to keep it stress free is to keep it super simple. All natural is an easy approach, and doesn’t take more than a trip to the supermarket or a walk around your neighborhood to gather clippings from the great outdoors.

Evergreen clippings add greenery to an elegant setting, snips, branches, and votives always looks fresh and inviting.

Arrange simple leaves, apples, and votives like Julie did for an eye pleasing natural presentation.

Citrus pops against evergreen leaves, nestle a few votives in between for a simple yet stunning centerpiece.

Use twine or floral wire to combine olive branches and rosemary to create a scented table runner.

Gather a bouquet of fall leaves and scatter white pumpkins and red pears on a simple runner.

If you crave color add a bright napkin and colorful candles but keep the centerpiece as simple as a few pieces of eucalyptus and a store-bought bouquet.

Olive branches again for the win! Rest pomegranates on top for a more subtle dash of color.

Keeping your setting simple and natural allows the food to shine and invites your company to linger longer over the meal. Wishing all my fellow Americans a very Happy Thanksgiving! I’ll be back on Friday with another weekend roundup.
