BOTB 11.7.14

By Kate Riley November 7, 2014

I’ve had my head down focused on several renovation projects and then realized *gulp* it’s November and the holidays are coming up so quick! Time to get started on gifts, crafts, entertaining, etc … add it to the list of things to do!

I’m headed back to Las Vegas this weekend, there is much happening at the fixer house, we’re patching the kitchen tile floor to get the space ready for the new cabinets, installing plantation shutters in two rooms, hanging light fixtures in several spaces, and setting up beds in three rooms for the rotating door of holiday guests descending on us in December.

Here’s the “Best of the Blogosphere” roundup of favorite DIY projects and design ideas spied around the web this week. Oh my, so much design makeover goodness to be savored from the One Room Challenge series of before and afters, find all the links at Calling It Home including these two among other amazing spaces.

I can’t believe holidays are around the corner either. My house is totally torn up at the moment. Better pull it together before winter party season :)

  3. Love this BOTB feature of Stephanie Kraus, I wa not familiar with her. I just spent a couple hours looking over her blog, great way to spend a cold rainiy Saturday.

  4. Absolutely in love with Ana White’s Christmas decoration! I haven’t seen such a stylish Christmas decoration for a very long time! Simple and stylish! Can’t wait to try it at home. Also, grey decoration with sparkle elements is totally my favourite!
