Hey everyone, welcome to the weekend! I’m sure many of you have some special plans for Mother’s Day, we’re headed out to Sonoma for a leisurely lunch in the Plaza and some relaxation in the sun. I have to share this Ikea hack with with you, my friend Heidi got the idea from Preciously Me and combined a stained plank with IKEA’s Akurum upper cabinets and furniture legs from Etsy to create her own contemporary breakfast nook credenza. I snapped a pic at her place last week, it’s very sleek and stylish with a mid century vibe.

  1. Those exposed beams are just gorgeous! I have wood beams in my den that were painted over by the previous owners and I can’t wait to bring them back to their natural glory at some point.
