Greetings all! The ‘Best of the Blogosphere’ is back highlighting some spectacular spaces and ideas from around the web – Amanda is my fellow scout and together we track down our favorites to be featured twice a month. Enjoy these inspiring rooms and ideas!
Yes you can have a super stylish and baby friendly community space, just tour Oh Joy’s updated family room for tips.
Here’s one fantastic home improvement: a DIY banquette that allows for ventilation, built and installed at Casa de Lewis.
A trio of ombré nesting tables are the latest DIY addition to Nicole’s family room over at Making It Lovely.
Got an exposed fridge? Frame it in and use the new wall as a family command center like Stacy at Not Just a Housewife.
Make your own birch lookalike candles with tips from Kimberly at A Night Owl.
Create a large scale advent calendar with fabric from IKEA and a tutorial by Chiara at Oh Happy Day.
Introduce the natural scents of winter into your home with recipes for simple homemade room spritz available at Design*Sponge.
Thanks Amanda as always for your contributions! You can catch up with Amanda at her blog Serenity Now. If you’ve got a great space or project you’ve featured on your blog, be sure to send it our way to email@example.com.
How about some very exciting news? Remember this kitchen and this bathroom we remodeled earlier this year for a local emergency shelter? They are both being photographed for the BH&G Kitchen and Bath Ideas issue this week! We’re beyond thrilled!
The spaces will be photographed as inspiration for budget remodels and the magazine will share the story of our team effort and the reasons for improving the spaces. I never imagined our Alma Project improvements would make it into a magazine someday and I have all the donors to thank! I’ll let you all know which 2013 issue it will be and when it will hit the shelves as soon as I know more.
See you all tomorrow for another great week of projects and more holiday related inspiration…
