All the talk about setting a pretty table got me in the mood too, so I set one for a monthly get together with my moms group with some seasonal paperwhites in silver cachepots and a little evergreen in the center too.  Scattered across are some ornaments in shades of silver and blue ~ simple and sparkly.

I love the combination of silver, blue, and winter whites in holiday décor, it always feels so fresh.  What about you?  How did you set your table this year?  Time to show me whatcha got!  Fall and winter tablescapes count, from Thanksgiving through the end of the year (Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s, etc.)  One entry per person.

Link up your holiday tablescape and let’s get this party started !!

  1. I love your table, Kate! What time should I arrive…I know you’ll be serving wine! ;)

Thanks for hosting, I was like a shopper on Black Friday, waiting outside the doors for the party start. I love tablescapes, and am excited about browsing all of these!

  2. Thanks Kate for the opportunity! I linked my Christmas table scape from last year, as I am way behind this year….Love your table, just beautiful!

  3. Your table looks so pretty! I love those colors, in fact most of my Christmas decor are in those colors this year. Thanks for hosting :)

  4. i love using blues and whites and silvers for winter-i think it works perfectly for my 2 religion household. before blogging, i would never think those colors could be so seasonal.

thanks so much for hosting, and also fingers crossed for the homegoods gift cards. i could do some major damage there!

  5. Kate, your table is beautiful. Thanks so much for inviting us over to share our holiday tables! It was quite the production getting that post pulled together — so hats off to all you other ladies (and men) who have linked up here today …

  6. Really, really lovely table…everything is perfect. We just finished our dining room and am so excited to post my very first tablescape post on this party! Thank you for hosting!!

  7. What a fun link party! Your tabs is stunning! I love all of the white. Tablescapes are not my strong suite, but the Halloween one I posted was so much fun!. Thanks for hosting such a great party …. inspiration galore!

  8. This i s a great idea for a link party! Everyone’s table scape’s look beautiful! I love the sparkle in yours! Great blog, definitely one of my daily stop now! :)

  9. Thank you Kate for sharing & hosting all the fun.
I too like seeing silver used with blues,
    it feels so chilly.
LoVe Home Goods and T.J. Maxx,
    what a fabulous prize !

  10. Question…. so many of these dining rooms are painted light colors so the bright, sparkly silvers and fun colors seem to also ‘go’ with the room. Is my table its own thing, or does it need to fit in with the wallpaper of my dining room which is quite dark? I just feel like some of these tables would look out of place in my dining room even though i love the tablescape itself. Thoughts?!

    • Hi Nikki, I’m unsure if you’re asking about design in general or the contest, but I truly believe your dining room should work for you and your family and reflect your personal style. As far as the contest goes, the room is not being judged, just the table setting itself on creativity and affordability. I hope you will join in with all the fun!

  11. Nikki, I get what you are saying but I think regardless of the wall color the design will be judged by its design, not the room. If that were the case, I would have put my tree and mantel in the picture for added drama.

  12. Thanks for hosting. Your table is lovely with the little evergreen and all of the sparkly silver. I am working on a Christmas table right now, but don’t have it photographed yet, so I had to use my Thanksgiving table, oh well.

  13. HI Kate,

Thank you for hosting this fun party! I’ve looked at 10 or 15 tables so far and they are each and every one beautiful, including yours. I have some blue snowflake transferware plates that would fit in perfectly with your table! Don’t you love the paper-whites? They are so Christmas-ey to me!

    • I know Heather, so so many beautiful tables, and the stories that go with them are so touching, I’m loving visiting them all! It will be so so difficult to even “judge” them, I’m just happy so many are sharing their creativity and their lives with the party!

  14. Thank you for hosting this party. It’s been such an inspiration and so much fun. I can’t believe how talented everyone is. I don’t envy your task in picking just a few people. Thanks again :-)

  15. Thank you for hosting this party for all of us! It was fun. I really enjoyed taking time today to visit so many of the other links. There were many beautiful tables. Congrats to all of you! Kate, your table was simple, elegant, and white! Love that combo!
