Shutterfly GIVEAWAY

By Kate Riley May 6, 2011

Hello hello, happy Friday!  Announcing the winner of last week’s Shabby Apple Giveaway, congratulations to #306 Alicia Larson and #1,212 Rylann Johnson.  Ladies, look for an email from me!

This weekend’s giveaway comes to you from Shutterfly, a fabulous source for all of your photo needs and creations, from canvas art to personalized gifts to photo printing.

I’m particularly impressed with Shutterfly’s photo books, have you seen all the layout options available?  My very good friend takes all her pictures of her kids from their summer adventures, and has them made into a photo book every fall.  She showed me her collection the other day, and I got a little weepy.  Seriously, such a brilliant idea to have a series of ‘Summer Fun’ books from every year!

  258. Got to tell you – loved this post! “Beets” as you call them are referred to as Beetroot here in the land of Oz. We eat these on Sandwiches, Salad and particularly Hamburgers! There is a saying in Australia that “it’s not an Aussie Hamburger without Beetroot”. We have travelled to the States allot over the years and it never ceases to amaze me when I ask for beetroot on my burger – oh the looks we get!

A typical “Aussie” burger is made of:

    Bun
    Meat
    Onions – Fried
    Lettuce
    Tomato
    Cheese
    Carrot – grated
    Beetroot !!!!
Tomato or BBQ Sauce (better with BBQ)

Give it a shot – it’s the best!

P.S Huge fan … read your blog everyday all the way over here in oz!

  259. Definitely a photobook…not sure what the collection would entail yet…but I have pictures waiting. Maybe of our dog and various outdoor adventures ???
