CG- a quick question – so you just put the new fabric over the old fabric? And where did you get the nailhead trim like that? I always thought you just bought the nails…so much easier your way!
It is a trim kit made by Bulldog Hardware called “French Natural Nailhead Trim”. There is a picture of it in my DIY headboard post. I got it from my local Joann fabric/craft store but you can find it online as well. Good luck.
This is just what I've been looking for! We got a chair at a garage sale and it desperately needs to be recovered but the nailhead trim was killing me! I thought they were actual nails I was going to have pry out and then reattach one by one! Thank you so much for this!
HOLY CROW! That’s the same style chairs we have in our dining room and I was literally, yesterday, thinking that I want to do them over. They need a nice shining up and new seat covers. OH MY GOD – I love you!!!! Thanks for sharing!
